Methotrexate injection is an antineoplastic chemotherapy drug. It is classified as an antimetabolite and given in combination with other anticancer drugs or alone.

In children, it is used to treat cold sores around the mouth (caused by herpes simplex) and chickenpox (caused by varicella zoster). In adults, it is used to treat shingles (caused by herpes zoster) and cold sores around the mouth. Valacyclovir is also used to treat outbreaks of genital herpes.

Anastrozole is used in the treatment of breast cancer. Anastrozole lowers the amount of estrogen (natural female hormone) produced in the body. This can lower or stop the growth of some breast cancer cells that need estrogen to grow.

Exemestane is used in the treatment of breast cancer.
